Our Special Education Needs Support encourages an inclusive community that promotes a culture of openness, understanding and mutual support for students with diverse needs. Our main aim is to ensure these students have a holistic education experience and are equipped with life skills in order to find employment and live a fulfilling life after graduation.
Students with a full / partial physical, visual impairment or hearing loss / hard of hearing can tap the SEN Fund to purchase assistive technology (AT) devices and support services.
For the entire duration of the diploma course:
- Student with physical disability or learning & behaviours (L&B) condition can be funded up to $5,000
- Students with visual impairment and/or hearing loss/deaf can claim up to $25,000
- Students with high needs (physical impairment/visual impairment/hearing loss/deaf) can claim up to $70,000 (on a case-by-case basis)
You must:
- Be a Singapore Citizen
- Be a full-time diploma student
- Have declared yourself to Student Care & Guidance, Special Education Needs Support with a statement of diagnosis from a medical professional
